They basically don't really help with anything. She said she'll send me some resources to check into and she didn't. Second, they basically told me the same thing welfare office told me. And I've been on project based housing waiting list for 2 years now. Unless you're on drugs, have a huge criminal records of petty crimes, have 3 or more kids, you're likely not to receive any kind of help.

On more than one occasion I was on hold for a long period time and I had the option to leave my number for a call back. No one called that day or any days after that. Everything is funneled through 211 and it’s just another bureaucracy.

I called to get information as i was instructed by more than one business to do and i was treated very poorly. I was told it was an INFORMATION hotline and that they could provide detailed information into my specific concern but when i asked a gentleman about it he made me feel beneath him and like i was crazy. I filed a complaint....still waiting for them to respond to my complaint. I see here im not the only one who feels this way.

I went to the police station and the landlord to speak of downstairs in office of the village crossing the cops was saying it's ok to let the kid harass make lies they have rights about me threat ma 😠 professional job ? All of them looked at me I was the attacker? I tried show more evidence and didn't even see the video It wasted my time I losing my trust in the police law every one saw u guys didn't do ur job professional u didn't even let me finish the guy in middle keep interrupting me when I was trying to explain the female was quite holding her wrest both wrest close to her gun she was quite where is my human disability rights of justice

I have to say that for a community outreach source, I was not impressed with the quality of information provided. I was given all the same information that I had already extracted from the internet myself. I have had one excellent experience with a young lady named Tiegan who spent time in explaining to me how the CoC system works and gave me numbers to a couple of programs that I didn't find on the internet, explained how they worked and what I would need to do in order to get the most out of those resources. The other two people I spoke to..not so much. I think it has to be hard doing that job and I imagine that it can get rather stressful when people are calling in panicked and searching for some kind of immediate relief. That is definitely not 211's fault. I just think that sometimes tone of voice, patience and an empathetic approach combined with a strong understanding and knowledge base of all the services followed by an effective explanation of the services across all the phone consultants might make it feel more like a social services POE rather than a luck if the draw style conversation.

Was a complete waste of a phone call. No wonder there are so many homeless people in California. There is absolutely no jobs nor resources. I wonder where does all the money go the state take for taxes.
